Did you know that 2640 plastic bags are disposed every second in Singapore? That works out the numbers to be thereabout 13 bags per person, each day.

In one way or another, these disposed plastic enters the ocean resulting in detrimental impact. An estimated of 14 million tonnes of micro plastics exist on the bottom of the world's deep oceans and 100,000 marine mammals are killed by plastic each year.

Now, here's our role to play. The first step in reducing the number of plastic bags being disposed is by bringing our own bags! It's seemingly a small step but it is a step towards a better future for this planet.

Once you get into the habit of taking a bag, it’s honestly the easiest change you could make. The Tokyo Tote carries it all from groceries to flowers and one too many carton of oat milk, we've got you!

Bring your own bag is cute af and it’s not hard. Let’s save this world together, one step at a time x
